Board Director

Role:
Tim is a member of the Board and a co-founder of Aviation Economics in 1997. Tim’s role includes client engagement, peer review and project management.

Aer Lingus – Special Advisor to the CEO in relation to achieving membership of a global alliance.

NatWest Markets – Director of Investment Banking in the Global Origination team responsible for the banks’ relationships with airlines, airports, OEMs and aircraft lessors.

County NatWest – Associate Director in Equity Research responsible for the coverage of airlines and airports.

Lloyds of London – Deputy Editor of Lloyds Aviation Strategy.

British Aerospace – Member of the BAe 146 sales and marketing team with responsibility for Technical Sales for airlines in Asia and Australasia.

Peter Hind

Board Director

Role:
Peter chairs the Board of Aviation Economics, where he also has responsibility for strategic planning and financial reporting.

Peter is primarily involved in client liaison, engagement and peer review.

Joanna Hunt

Associate Director

Role:
Jo is responsible for client engagement, project leadership and consultancy assignment delivery. She also oversees business reporting and project management.

Cranfield University – Guest Lecturer (2014-present)

RDC/Aviation Economics – Consultant and Analytical Positions. Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets, produce traffic and revenue forecasts and calculate airline profitability.

bmi regional – Network Planning Manager responsible for the optimisation of the airline fleet from a revenue potential perspective. Air service development, route cancellation and optimisation of schedules from an operational and connectivity perspective. Management of the airline slot portfolio.

bmi regional and bmibaby – Revenue Management Analyst responsible for the delivery of route revenue through booking class control and yield management. Quarterly revenue forecasts and input into the airline marketing strategy

bmi/British Midland – Pricing Analyst responsible for the setting and management of airline fares including fare rules. Competitive monitoring, GDS distribution and management of taxes and airport charges collection.

       

Richard Holt

Associate Director

Role:
Richard is responsible for providing leadership on the delivery of consultancy assignments, acting as the prime interface between clients and the Aviation Economics team.

Prior Experience:
Seabury Aviation UK – Vice President leading consultancy assignments on airport transactions, forecasting and strategy development.

SH&E/ICF – Vice President in the Airports Practice leading worldwide consultancy assignments.

Birmingham Airport – Head of Strategy and member of the Executive Management Group for the UK’s sixth largest airport.  Responsible for traffic forecasting, corporate strategy and industry and government affairs.  Developed long-term traffic forecasts to support master planning, privatisation and bond issues.  Earlier in his career at the airport he was a member of the planning and development team involved in small and large scale airport developments.

       

Fazrul Roslan

Principal

Role:
Fazrul is primarily responsible for leading all technical aspects of airport transaction projects. This includes analytical and quantitative modelling, traffic forecasting, aeronautical revenue forecasting and peak secondary forecasting.

Malaysia Senai Airport – Business Development Executive responsible for the strategic planning of the only privatised regional airport in Malaysia, encompassing  airline development and development of Aviation Park and Free Zone area.

       

Nick Harper

Principal

Role:
Nick is primarily responsible for leading the analysis on all airport projects. This includes the interpretation and presentation of complex data sources and technical client support.

Prior Experience:

Manchester Airports Group – responsibility for East Midlands, Bournemouth and Humberside Airport websites and associated online car park bookings.

East Midlands Airport – worked in an analytical capacity in Research and Development, Aviation, Marketing and Commercial departments, Nick has experience of working with a wide variety of information sources including car parking, concessions data, passenger statistics and survey data.

       

Andy Murphy

Principal

Role:

Andy is primarily responsible for managing and working on airport transaction projects and air service development. This includes traffic forecasting, modelling and market assessments.

Prior Experience:

AviaSolutions – Senior consultant in an aviation consultancy specialising in airport transactions, traffic forecasting, airport route development, airline network and fleet development and performance, working with airports, airport investors, financial institutions, governments, public sector and airlines.

SH&E – Consultant and analyst in a large independent aviation consultancy providing professional products and services to the aviation industry including airline and airport marketing, forecasting, strategic planning and route planning as well as marketing airport survey data for the UK CAA.

OAG – Airline Account Manager in CIS, Baltics and Indian Subcontinent. Market Analysis account manager (Europe and North America), Market Analysis production manager. Industry affairs manager. Senior airline analyst.

       

Thomas Lazaridis

Senior Consultant

Role:
Thomas is primarily engaged on the execution side of the business, primarily in operational, financial modelling and due diligence. He also assists in client engagement, project quality control and project management.

  • Airport Regulation and Regulatory Modelling
  • Traffic, aeronautical revenues, commercial revenues and operational expenditures forecasting

Prior Experience:
LVMH – Business Analyst, covering the UK and EIRE business, in both B2C and B2B operations, assisting on the corporate finance activities.
